Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Finance Training & Support Specialist
In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for review business processes related to Finance Training & Support in order to gain a complete understanding of the current procedures, identify improvements, document current and updated processes using modeling tools, and connect functional business process owners to appropriate groups within the organization to continually optimize the level of functionality, customer service, and training provided to the end users.
The Specialist will also plan, produce and/or administer training programs within the Finance Division of NYU Langone Health. Provides continuous support to customers within and outside of Finance department.
Specialization in at least one financial system: MyTime (Kronos), PeopleSoft Financials, and/or other financial systems. This specialization includes the ability to hold trainings on the system for internal employees.
Asses training program effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement of training materials and/or courses.
Ensure high quality case resolution by communicating clearly and concisely with customers in a timely manner.
Identify training and/or documentation opportunities by evaluating root cause of support cases.
Ability to quickly onboard to institutional projects related to system implementations, enhancements, and/or changes.
Identify problematic areas of business processes, conduct necessary data analyses, and provide alternatives and recommendations for changes when and where necessary.
Partner with different areas of Finance to ensure training materials, policies and procedures are current.
The ability to onboard to other projects and systems in support of Health System initiatives and acquisitions.
Bachelor’s degree or minimum of four years in a customer facing role
Must have strong analytical and computer skills to support the analysis
Business office setting
