Working for the Risk Management Department, you will be involved in monitoring the Bank's risks (i.e. strategic, liquidity, market, operational, counterparty, credit, outsourcing etc.).
With the support of the Group Risk team, developing an effective methodology for monitoring market risks at Bank level (which requires experience in derivatives and collateral management).
Being involved in the monitoring of ALM risk / liquidity risk.
Ensuring that the Bank's risk management framework is adequate – substantial involvement in the ICAAP, ILAAP & Recovery Plan processes.
Helping the business lines to identify and manage risks (business or operational), and advising them accordingly.
Providing the governing bodies with information on the risks facing the Bank and suggesting mitigating action.
Coordinating the risk management framework with our branches (i.e. Germany, Spain, Italy and UK).
Drawing up risk maps, risk profiling and risk appetite statements for the Bank.
Being involved in the analysis and approval procedures for new products & services.
Holding regular exchanges with the risk managers in the business lines; having in-depth knowledge of the different business models employed by the business lines.
Identifying trends and emerging risks to which the Bank might be exposed.
Qualifications and experience:
University degree: Master's in Finance or Management; postgraduate diploma (e.g. FRM).
At least 10 years' experience in a similar role.
Very good grasp of financial instruments and their specific risk factors.
In-depth knowledge of EBA & CSSF rules.
Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Fluent in English and French.
