Established in 1969, Ramapo College offers bachelor’s degrees in the arts, business, humanities, social sciences and the sciences, as well as in professional studies, which include business, elementary education, nursing and social work. The College also offers articulated programs, including dental, optometry, chiropractic and health professions, as well as visual arts therapy and law, with colleges and institutions in New Jersey and New York.
Undergraduate students may choose to concentrate their studies in one of five schools with more than 539 course offerings and more than 36 academic programs. The Anisfield School of Business at Ramapo College of New Jersey is seeking a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of International Business to join us in Fall 2019. The Anisfield School of Business is AACSB accredited and favorably located in New Jersey, approximately 35 miles from New York City. The school offers five undergraduate majors: B.S. in Accounting, B.S.in Business Administration, B.A. in Economics, B.S.in Information Technology Management, and B.A. in International Business. The B.S. degree in Business Administration offers concentrations in finance, management, and marketing. Also, the school offers two graduate programs: an accelerated MBA for working professionals, and an M.S. in Accounting.
The ideal candidate will be able to teach a flexible combination of required courses at both the undergraduate and MBA levels.
Candidates for the position should have a Ph.D. in International Business (or related area). ABD with imminent completion date will be considered.
Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching and a demonstrated ability to publish high-quality research in peer reviewed journals. Applicants should be versatile, with an ability to teach introductory and advanced courses in international business. Applicants with research and/or teaching interest in European business are particularly encouraged to apply. Rank is dependent on qualifications and experience.
Faculty members are expected to maintain academic qualifications consistent with AACSB standards for scholarship and intellectual contributions as well as fulfilling services obligations including college and school governance, academic advisement, professional development and other needed activities.
