The College of Engineering and Technology seeks a 9-month fixed-term position starting fall semester 2019 to teach, advise, and provide service both the Departments of Computer Science and Technology Systems. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching at the College or University level and will be able to teach both undergraduate computer science and software engineering courses as well as have a program focus in mainframe or enterprise systems. Successful candidates will be expected to commit to high-quality teaching and active engagement with undergraduate students.
Faculty members are expected to provide leadership in developing, teaching, and maintaining curriculum in the undergraduate programs using both traditional and distance delivery methods. In addition to teaching, advising, and providing service, active involvement in outreach to industry is required. Course assessment and support of program assessment within the departments will be required. Familiarity with the business and government needs for mainframe technologies in North Carolina is desired.

A Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline is required. Industry experience in mainframe systems is desired. All degrees must be conferred from a regionally accredited institution.
