This position is responsible for assisting and coordinating a variety of activities and operations, including airfield inspections and safety and security activities. Individual must be focused on the safety, security, and efficiency of operations and the expeditious flow of aircraft and passengers. Work is performed under the general direction of a designated supervisor, and checked for accuracy, quality and the ability to complete work in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• A high school diploma from an accredited school or its equivalent. • Two (2) years of training and experience in airport operations including airport management, airframe & powerplant, or military airfield management which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities and other competencies necessary for success in the target position.

The airport maintains a Class 1 Part 139 Airport Operating Certificate with Index B capable of Index C ARFF services. Over 230 aircraft are based out of LAL and the airport maintains 1,742 acres of land including three solar farms and over 1 million square feet of facilities under roof.
