Southwest Retina Consultants seeks an experienced ophthalmic administrator to guide the operational and strategic demands of a growing three-physician multispecialty practice. Established as a solo retina practice in 2014, Southwest Retina continues to experience rapid multi-specialty and satellite growth. Our new administrator will take the helm of this process, oversee the construction and transition into new medical office space, and provide strong operational leadership in the areas of human resource, financial management, and strategic planning. Revenue cycle, billing, and clinical trial experience are a plus. Additional Education & Experience:
A minimum of 3 years medical practice management in a fast-paced clinic.
Bachelor’s in health care administration or equivalent work COE or CMPE certification a plus.
Experience in preparing and evaluating monthly financial reporting, including provider production reports, account receivable, accounts payable, etc.
Experience with electronic medical records and practice management software packages.
Experience in negotiating contracts for insurance / payors, employment, equipment purchase/financing, etc.
Experience with MIPS / MACRA & other government reporting.
