The Financial Analysis Manager is under the general direction of the Director, Finance Government Programs, this manager position provides the finance team with complex data mining and analytics, strategic planning, productivity, and operational efficiencies that will sustain an environment of safe patient care as well as maximizing the value of hospital resources. Working in collaboration with the department, the Manager of Financial Analysis will support and lead the finance team in data mining and analytical skills in order to be able to serve the Finance department and the operational leadership of the hospital. In addition, this role will act as the primary lead for all data needs for the department and will be considered the central data and reporting resource.
Bachelor's Degree required in Business/Finance, Management, Statistics, or similar field.
Three to five years in either Health Care or Financial Analysis required. Master's degree in related field preferred.
Extensive analytical ability required to evaluate and interpret market, financial, clinical, and other supportive data in order to make sound and objective recommendations for strategic options.
Experience with data mining, maintenance and manipulation from multiple sources required.
Ability to formulate, write and present effective business plans, situation analysis documents, and feasibility studies.
Self-directed and able to multi-task as needed to complete projects.
Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
