Position Summary: The Executive Director for Undergraduate Education is responsible for the development and oversight of a portfolio of academic degrees and innovative undergraduate initiatives including the university's Baccalaureate Summer Session and Associate's degree programs. Preliminary evidence suggests we will see a 75%, 2-year graduation rate for the first associate's degree cohort, far exceeding national averages for 2-year education. This position is a chance for an innovative educator to redefine the standards for associate's-level programs and to have a broad national impact.
Develop a strategic vision and implementation strategy for undergraduate education at the Katz School, including associates degrees, baccalaureate summer session, and high school programs.
Publish results and create a national model for 2-year education.
Raise the visibility of the Katz School on the national stage and within the local community.
Identify and initiate new programs and curricular innovations.
Recruit, develop, and evaluate a team of full-time and adjunct faculty and create an environment of shared governance.
Lead ongoing curriculum development and assessment.
Oversee a dedicated student advisement team and academic support services.
Maintain and evolve policies that ensure student success and an exceptional student experience.
Collaborate with the Universitys departments on marketing, recruitment, and admissions. Will include limited domestic and international travel.
Manage day-to-day functioning for Katz School undergraduate programs.
Schedule courses, faculty, student and faculty communications, and other program logistics.
Prepare reports for senior leadership, including reports on: enrollment; student and faculty analytics; course and program assessment; financial performance.
Manage requirements and relationships with accrediting bodies and internal partners.
