The Assistant Director for Graduate and Executive Education is responsible for managing the Graduate Professional Studies non-credit and non-degree programming. They are the primary point person for corporate and non-profit partner relationships and business development. They will serve as the primary point of contact with external and internal university partners for planning, outreach, and program delivery. The incumbent serves as the School liaison to the University non-credit registration system and works with Office of Information Technology and other AU units as required.
The incumbent supervises 1-2 part-time staff members with additional support as needed

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of four years of experience in academic administration with increasing responsibility and program management, experience in student recruitment and admissions systems is required
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, people skills and relationship building skills are essential
Must have a demonstrated ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and work with diplomacy, flexibility, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
Must have strong organizational skills and be able to manage deadlines, but also work well in diverse teams
Preferred Education and Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree in higher education administration, business, communications, analytics or a closely related field and experience with corporate, government and or non-profit business development
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Some recruitment travel, both domestic and international, throughout the year may be required
Occasional weekend or evening work may also be required
