The practice manager takes lead responsibility for the outpatient services within Southern Nevada Pain Center, working closely with physicians’ and staff to assure maximum efficiency for physicians and patients, and participates at the senior management level in strategic planning for the overall group. The goal for this position is daily administration of the group office activities and to plan, develop and execute strategies that make maximum use of all resources, including physicians, staff space and supplies toward the end goal which is to provide comprehensive care to all patients and a positive work environment for physicians and staff. There are plans for expansion of services to multi-specialty comprehensive pain center.
Participates in charting and implementing the medical group’s mission in response to changing needs.
Provides leadership and support in the conception, planning, development, and execution of the Practice’s operating plan.
Develops and implements operating guidelines to ensure efficient flow of work and patients in a multi-faceted clinical environment.
Provides day-to-day oversight and supervision of clinical and non-clinical staff and adjusts resources as required to meet quality and financial targets.
Enhances operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment without jeopardizing important innovation or quality of care.
Ensures group practice compliance with all regulatory agencies governing healthcare delivery.
Continually monitors operations, programs, and physical properties.
Participates in establishing objectives related to staffing, performance standards, policies and procedures.
Serves as a liaison between the physicians and staff and maintains effective communication throughout the practice.
Participates in review and selection of enhanced technology and assumes responsibility for effective implementation.

Ability to envision growth needs to increase productivity in accordance with SNPC’s vision and to organize office in most effective and efficient manner possible.
Ability to effectively hire train, lead and dismiss staff.
Ability to communicate with and prepare performance reviews of all subordinate staff.
Change and conflict management experience.
Budget process and basic finance understanding
Knowledge of medical group contracting and negotiation with insurances.
