1. Advises faculty and administrators seeking external funding for research and other sponsored projects on submission policies, award requirements, and regulations. 2. Participates in the development of resources, training, and communication of sponsored projects activities. 3. Reviews routine sponsored projects documents for accuracy, appropriateness and compliance. Consults with appropriate staff on any exceptions to University policy. 4. Maintains background knowledge on regulations, external and internal policies and procedures governing the administration of grants and contracts, and serves as a resource to faculty and staff. 5. Utilizes appropriate University and sponsor electronic systems to effectively and accurately track, submit and/or report sponsored projects activity. 6. Serves as a liaison for investigators, university administrators to sponsoring agencies for routine matters for a defined group of activities. 7. May perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Demonstrated expertise with Yale Budgeting Tool (YBT) or a similar financial budgeting system.
