In this role, the customer-facing CLO Financial Engineer whose primary responsibility is to develop forward-thinking analytical solutions while addressing on-going business demands in the structured finance sector. Responsibilities include:
Client Relationship Management Support, demo, and train potential and existing clients on software applications
Model and test new and existing deals against legal docs/indentures
Product Development: Identify product improvement opportunities. Design product features
Triage client and product issues
Ad Hoc Reporting and Inquiries from clients' (incl. trading desks, deal analysts, and investor relations teams)
Lead development cycle execution for our flagship products
Work with internal and external stakeholders to design and develop product functionality
Develop use cases and/or specific requirements based on stakeholder requirements
Liaise between the engineering, program management, and research teams as well as facilitate understanding of the design requirements
Assist with special projects
Train junior staff
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor's) or graduate/second-level degree (e.g. MBA, Master's) with emphasis in financial engineering, computer science, engineering, math, finance, economics, or a related quantitative field preferred.
3+ years of experience in financial engineering, computer science, engineering, math, finance, economics, or a related quantitative field.
Strong knowledge of CLO Asset Management required
Working knowledge of SQL or other scripting or coding languages required.
Solid quantitative skills and analytical problem solving ability required.
Excellent communication and organizational skills with the confidence to interact with top financial professionals.
Demonstrated initiative, enthusiasm, and ability to learn quickly and excel as part of a dynamic team.
Attention to detail and ability to work and learn independently.
