This is an essential administration role in which the HR Associate must partner effectively across all internal HR functions to ensure that data and HR records are accurately maintained and reviewed on a regular basis. The individual will support the Employee Relations team through the provision of timely and proactive administrative support.
Provide Global Employee Relations team administrative support including doing expense reports, making travel arrangements, scheduling meetings etc
Ensure up-to-date and accurate Employee Relations files and records
Manage all Joiner and Leaver administration as directed by the ER team
Serve as point of contact for HR Service Center, and escalate queries to HRBPs as necessary
Pull weekly and ad hoc reports based on the Employee Relations team requests
Retrieve employee files, coordinate the logistics of an investigation and/or termination, and drafting necessary documentation to memorialize the end of an employment relationship as directed
Process employee terminations by notifying certain individuals and/or departments as directed.
Process invoices for legal and outplacement services
Assist in preparation of responses regarding unemployment claims
Develop relationships with other departments' associates to allow for the leveraging of support when issues need to be resolved
Ensures that all work assignments are completed on time and accurately
Prioritizes work assignments to accommodate urgent requests as needed
Suggests and recommends process improvements
Partners and maintains a professional courteous and supportive relationship with the rest of HR
Demonstrates a professional and courteous attitude to colleagues at all times. Acts as an ambassador for the HR department with both internal clients and external clients and vendors
Works with team members to develop creative solutions to workflow issues
Assists the ER team with all aspects of facilitating Reduction in Force actions
Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree
Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service to all levels of internal and external customers
Able to demonstrate administration experience
Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel with the ability to learn additional programs as needed
Building relationships / strong team player
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized and efficient
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Work using own initiative and without close supervision
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrates appropriate confidentiality at all times
