Change Recruitment's Global Asset Servicing Client is looking to hire a Senior Administrator for their Data Support and Oversight Team. The purpose of Edinburgh FINS Data Support and Oversight team is to oversee the FINS Data operational team sited within the Operational Service Centres ensuring that the end service delivery to our clients meets the service standards documented within our Service Level Definition.
Oversight & Service Delivery
· Escalation point for unresolved BAU operational issues raised by Senior Management · Identify and support resolution of high risk items within set timescales · Highlight & discuss all identified deficiencies with the Business Service Delivery owner to facilitate closure · Perform function specific oversight checks, review and monitor client service deliverables Measured through: · Client key performance indicators · Checklists and MI data e.g. monthly service delivery statistics
Performance Review & Monitoring · Provide input to weekly and monthly BAU meetings with the SSO Operational Managers to discuss performance standards, ensuring these are documented within agreed timelines set · Monitoring of all client & internal feedback, complaints, breaches, errors & losses · Accurate & timely logging of items on Issues Log for discussion at Service Review Calls
New Business, Change Projects & Process Improvements · Review & authorise changes to business procedures & controls proposed by the SSO · Review new working practices proposed by the SSO, ensuring there is no deficiency in service delivery · Liaison and support between Change Management & Delivery and SSO in communicating Change Project requirements and their impact · Review & authorise system enhancement requests proposed by the SSO · Review results from system testing ensuring no adverse risk to the process · Management of Operational Readiness Sign Off and provision of onsite presence during implementation as required New Products & Services · Provide support for new products or service enhancements to the SSO, ensuring additional training is provided & oversee the implementation · Liaison and support between Product and SSO in communicating strategic direction of new and enhanced services and their impact · Assist in management of non-standard requests to ensure adherence to ODAC governance procedure · Assist in management of RFP requests ensuring that responses are provided & accurately reflect our service proposition & provide guidance on unusual requests for information
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
General Education: · Preferably IOC qualified or hold similar professional qualification · Degree educated preferable
Maintain an awareness of topical market issues and in particular changes in the Industry. · Demonstrate knowledge of current issues and industry changes · Attendance at relevant forums and workshops, actively sharing information gathered · Provide technical guidance and expertise to SSOs
Knowledge & industry experience within one or more of the following areas: · Static Data maintenance in particular Standard Settlement Instructions · Trade Matching/Settlement · FX Matching/Settlement · Cash Payments
· Retain working knowledge of Middle Office system architecture and process flows · Familiar and conversant with Custodians and Brokers · Good knowledge of SWIFT messaging · Excellent attention to detail · Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and both internal and external parties. · Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. · Ability to plan and organise the team's workload to meet deadlines, taking into account relative priorities. · Ability to monitor performance against objectives. · Proven ability to work independently and to motivate and influence others. · Staff development including cross-site opportunities, E.g. travel to SSO site to provide technical support & training · Desire to achieve service excellence which is recognised by all clients, competitors and industry bodies
