This position oversees the procedural matters related to encoding the degree audit system (uAchieve) to reflect changes in university curriculum and transfer articulation agreements. Provides support to other divisions within the office that rely upon the accuracy of degree audits, including athletics compliance, veteran services, registration, and graduation. Plans and coordinates daily encoding tasks and well as larger scale projects in concert with other staff in the Registrar's Office and our partners across campus. Attends and plans relevant meetings and consultations with University Information Technology, Curriculum Administration, the Academic Advising and other academic departments and service areas. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Coordinates procedural matters regarding the day-to day operations of degree audit encoding and transfer articulation.
Plans and implements procedural changes/modifications for degree audit.
Maintains encoding documentation. Prepares related reports and performs evaluation of product effectiveness.
Monitors resources to ensure on-time delivery of encoding projects.
Provides information to students, faculty, and staff regarding deadlines, procedures, and best practices of using the degree audit system and transfer tools.
Partner with local and system technical support resources to test software upgrades and programming modifications for the degree audit.
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Experience with uAchieve, or other degree audity software, and Peoplesoft preferred, as well as experience advising college-level students.
