This role is based within the Global Revenue Management Team ("GRM"), which is tasked with maximising the revenue of Fitch Ratings across regions and products. GRM has staff based in APAC, EMEA, LatAm and US. GRM seeks to enhance Fitch's global revenue through a disciplined analysis of Fitch's existing portfolios (data mining), pricing strategies, competition and opportunities. The team is also seeking to improve performance measurement and reporting.
Completion of a portfolio of fee renewals expiring each financial year (75% of role)
Working with corporate finance BRM relationship managers to devise individual strategies for renewals
Research and provide relevant company level information and data to assist senior negotiators in the team
Provide support to the monthly reporting function by tracking renewal portfolio performance and reporting to senior management
Assist line manager in performing ongoing portfolio analysis by asset class and region including banks, non-bank financial institutions, corporate and insurance
Use portfolio analysis tools to identify outliers and opportunities among sectors, regions and individual companies
Track fixed income issuance in the market and provide quarterly reporting to BRM team
Management and execution of a small number of special projects including but not limited to competitor analysis, pricing strategies, as well as supporting their line manager on bespoke tactical and strategic projects
Qualifications and experience:
Experience of negotiating professional services contracts will be advantageous
Keen interest in global financial markets
IT literate and have good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Intermediate/Advanced Excel, Data, Reporting, VLookups, Pivot tables, Filtering, Formulas etc.
Data manipulation and database interrogation
Strong background in reporting (ad hoc and regular)
Confident stakeholder interaction and presentation skills
