AHCA is seeking a Senior Manager of Clinical & Regulatory Services with a commitment to improving lives by delivering solutions for quality care. This position will be responsible for developing resources, performing regulatory analysis and policy development, and providing member education around clinical, regulatory and quality of care issues. This role will also promote formulation and adoption of federal policy in the areas of quality care and clinical practice, including the MDS assessment process.
Skills & Requirements: Bachelor's degree required. Clinical training, registered nurse with MDS and/or survey management experience preferred. Minimum five years’ work experience in healthcare setting, post-acute/long term care preferred. Experience in an association or other membership organization preferred.
The ideal candidate will also possess:
•Demonstrated organizational and project management skills. •Knowledge of adult learning principles and course development experience required. •Experience in program design, implementation and management, and quality improvement required. •Works well within a team, both, as a leader and a team member. •Adept at forecasting impact of policy changes and positions on membership. •Ability to achieve consensus and negotiate points on issues that best support the needs and concern of membership. •Understand relevance of government regulations and policies to membership. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Ability to present information to small and large groups. •Understanding of federal government regulations and policy relating to long term and post-acute care. •Knowledge of clinical issues. •Knowledge of the RAI process and MDS. •Strong interpersonal skills. •Strong analytic skills.
