Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr. Supply Chain Management Analyst. In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for capturing and reporting all financial information regarding the Supply Chain division which includes over-all operational expenses and SCM related financial data reporting. This position supports the Manager of Finance & Data Reporting as required. The important aspect of this position is to help create supply chain data on cost saving initiatives, gathering bench mark data on the cost of supplies, saving opportunities, working with sourcing leaders and buyers highlighting the bench marking data to ensure pricing issues and bench mark data is acted upon to the full advantage of NYULMC. This position will work with the Finance department to gather monthly financial reports on supply usage, supply cost and other data as required. Job Responsibilities: - Other financial reporting and data collecting as identified
- Prepares monthly data statistics for the Manager of Finance & Data Reporting to report out to Senior Leadership
- Obtain bench mark data from UHC/Novation & compare data to NYULMC actual data
- Works with the Finance department to extract financial data on supply cost & utilization by procedure, discharge, patient's days and other bench mark data as determine and implemented
- Keeper & over-site of all Supply Chain data for monthly reporting purposes and analysis
- Ensure that cost saving data is timely, informative & accurate
- Develop and implement monthly reports that document cost saving initiatives, creating graphs and other reporting tools that easily report outcomes & opportunities
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a excellent background in accounting and financial procedures. Excellent Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Array Functions, V-look Ups, Index Match). Excellent communicator in providing written comments on how to improve on performance when necessary and detailing where outliers exist. Work well with an array of staff to help them understand the issues around their impact on cost saving, keeping current with PeopleSoft and how to improve on functions for A/P & purchasing to improve on the purchase to pay functions. Prefer experience in supply chain operations and familiar with various types of bench marking data. collection, initiatives reporting and keeping reports on departmental finances. A Self-Motivator. Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance. Prefer 2-3 years of Healthcare experience or a related business where data and financial reporting was main aspect of the job. Knowledge of Peoplesoft and EPIC. Involvement in professional societies where one can take advantage of the latest data collection and reporting mechanism. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
