To assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and provide direct nursing care to patients. To supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of the Intermediate Swing-Bed Unit to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. As charge nurse you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
Previous work in a hospital/ER setting would be an asset as would be able to float to the hospital if the need arose for additional help.
LPN or RN licensed. CPR certified.
Additional Salary Information: Negotiable based upon years of experience as a nurse.
