Reporting to the Director of Study Abroad, this a new position created to fulfill the MU International Center’s ambitious strategic goal to raise study abroad student participation from 25% to 30% by 2023. Consistent with MU’s strategic commitment to experiential learning and the student experience, the person in this role will work closely with the study abroad senior leadership team to design and implement a 5-year strategic enrollment management plan to offer affordable study abroad programs that will positively impact students’ academic retention, accelerate student graduation, and increase student employability. The person in this role will maximize the use of our Terra Dotta software to streamline the study abroad application process and eliminate barriers for study abroad. Key responsibilities include:
Use Terra Dotta Software to collect, analyze, and report data relevant to study abroad enrollment management. Produce weekly enrollment data reports to inform strategic initiatives and the delivery of outstanding student services.
Coordinates the Terra Dotta software for study abroad for International Center study abroad programming. Coordinate and liaise with university colleagues for campus-wide administration of this software.
Provides leadership and direction to the Study Abroad Resource Room staff and student leaders--1 FTE (Office Support Assistant III) and 3-5 student workers.
Develop, coordinate, and implement strategic student engagement, marketing, and outreach events in close collaboration with Study Abroad staff and International Center Communications team.
Participate in marketing events to promote study abroad participation (e.g., Summer Welcome, classroom presentations).
Participates in projects and committees as assigned. Other duties as assigned.

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
3-5 years of experience in higher education including: Experience designing large scale, high impact student outreach events, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, experience collecting, analyzing, and presenting data reports to inform strategic decisions; outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills,, strong presentations skills with large audiences.
