Continuing our history as leaders and innovators in the care of women, children, and families living with HIV, the mission of the François-Xavier Bagnoud Center (FXB Center) in the Rutgers School of Nursing is to eliminate barriers to high-quality health care for vulnerable populations. We are community health practitioners, educators, collaborators, and researchers united to reduce socially determined health disparities that are unjust and modifiable. The four main program areas of the FXB Center are: 1) HIV Primary Care, 2) Workforce Development and Quality Improvement, 3) Child Health Nursing, and 4) Research. This position relates to the Workforce Development program area.
The Program Assistant will provide administrative and programmatic support for the AIDS Education and Training Center, National Coordinating Resource Center (AETCNCRC), a national grant program of the FXB Center. Additional support for other grant-funded projects within the FXB Center will be provided on a more limited basis.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Science or a relevant field
One (1) year of related experience in a business office, government agency or university setting Equivalent experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for the education requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Business-to-business social media engagements
Strong work ethic, commitment to follow-up, and attention to detail
Computer literate with proficiency in the MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
Evaluation platforms (i.e., Google Analytics, SurveyMonkey, and/or Qualtrics)
Open source platform (Drupal)
Travel throughout the United States as needed.
