This new business division was created in 2017 with the aim to ensure greater alignment of product and sales efforts, enabling the bank to deliver a better service to clients and a more focused resource allocation. Global Transaction Banking (GTB) is a leading global provider of cash management, trade finance and securities services, delivering the full range of commercial banking products and services for both corporates and institutions worldwide.
GTB Corporate Cash Management is keen to enhance its global capabilities in the Accounts Platform and Services space in order to establish GTB as a treasury bank of choice for its clients. Accounts Platform and Services are core to a comprehensive cash management proposition. To cater to the needs of the market for effective account services, strategic core banking platform and billing solutions in complex corporate legal entity and treasury structures, we are looking for a business product manager to develop and manage a market leading offering for our APAC cash product platform.
The Business Product Manager will have oversight and overall responsibility for the end to end view of GTB's Accounts Platform and Services products. The individual will develop and support delivery of product strategy with an emphasis on the corporate client segment. In this function the Business Product Manager will also support the front office teams on all aspects of the Accounts Platform and Services products offering. He / She will maintain strong links into relevant support functions such as Operations, Technology, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Risk and as such be a key representative in APAC product regulatory topics, Sales initiatives and delivery into clients based in the APAC region.
The individual will also work closely with the regional Cash Product team in APAC and thus ensure alignment of regional and global product strategies for Accounts Platform and Services.
Act as the product owner, providing end to end oversight of product in partnership with internal stakeholders and clients.
Understand Market Problems – Record, Validate & Track Market Problems: Identify and document existing, changing or new Market Problems for the products in scope.
Develop multi-year business cases and strategies and secure funding for new initiatives or product enhancements.
Define scope of the product and ensure it meets business needs and is strategically aligned with global and regional business and product strategies through partnership between cash product management, business lines, development teams and operations.
Ensure all necessary validation steps are complete prior to product launches and oversee product communication launch and marketing activities for the commercialization of the product in the APAC region.
Understand end-to-end picture of product P&L financials and product performance to ensure sustainable performance.
Ensure full compliance with our Product Governance Model (Product Review Framework (PRF), Systematic Product Review (SPR), Product Risk Assessment (PRA) as well as local Market Regulations.
Develop and maintain the platforms KYP 'Know Your Product' which includes end to end flows, KOPP 'Key Operating Product Procedures' and coordinating NPA 'New Product Approval' process.
Actively manage local audit/compliance issues and product risks.
Profound experience in the Banking industry with a distinct focus on Cash Management business and ideally on account services, core banking platforms and billing solutions.
Sound understanding of regulatory framework and risk management disciplines related to Accounts Platform and Services products.
Good knowledge and understanding of Cash Management products and industry.
Extensive product and project management experience including strategic planning, product development and positioning experience.
Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Able to think strategically with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to handle multiple demands and priorities simultaneously, work under pressure, in an organized manner and with teams across multiple locations and time-zones.
Able to connect, manage and influence people from different backgrounds and cultures.
A strong team player being part of a global team, communicating, managing and cooperating closely on a global level while being able to take ownership and deliver independently.
Bachelor's degree (Economics, Business Administration, Finance preferred); Master's degree a plus.
Fluent in English.
Proficient in the use of MS Office product suite.
