Location: Pitfield, Kiln Farm, MK11 3DR, United Kingdom Salary: between 51.216 GBP to 64.020 GBP annually Temporary: 3 years, limited empoyment contract Responsible for the development, management, and implementation of the EMEA regional PR strategy to create a strong presence with key decision-makers and influencers. Working as part of the EMEA Marketing team and working closely with the EMEA Executive Team the role acts as regional point of contact for all RA global and country public relations representatives & agencies. Work with EMEA Executive Team, EMEA Marketing, Global Corporate Communications, EMEA Internal Communications and other internal stakeholders and external partners & customers to proactively promote and protect Rockwell Automation's corporate reputation. Specific areas of responsibility Develop and execute proactive EMEA-wide PR strategy to enhance and protect the Company's reputation and to continually raise awareness & understanding about Rockwell Automation within the region. Develop and implement an EMEA key stakeholder strategy to focus on opportunities for RA to build presence within relevant 'watering holes', encompassing media relations (business & trade), business associations & networks, governing bodies, partner liaison, speaking events, panel participation and other activities. Build 'business' media relations coverage in addition to trade media, identifying key journals/portals/bloggers and developing and building relationships with them and our internal executives. Using local agencies where relevant, establish and deepen relationships with that business & tier one trade media. Support the EMEA Executive & local management teams with their PR activity aligned to the key stakeholder strategy, through briefing, messaging, presentation/speech creation and training. Lead Media Relations activities at EMEA-led trade shows and events, working with internal spokespeople and external agencies. Manage the EMEA country Blog sites – working with global and local teams to ensure sites are optimised through relevant content and promotion. Responsible for the training and support for all EMEA media spokespeople, working with local sales and marketing and external suppliers Oversee the creation of regional media content – releases, articles, customer references, presentations to ensure alignment to objectives and company guidelines. Work closely with the EMEA Internal Communications Manager to align internal and external communications plans and activities to ensure consistent voice across all channels. Work with Corporate Communications & EMEA stakeholders to manage EMEA crisis communications & M&A activities. Work closely with other members of RA's crisis management and security teams, provide strategic communication advice to assess vulnerabilities and mitigate risk.
