This position develops, supports and continuously improves NYU IT's processes and standards in the areas of: IT Demand Management, Project Prioritization & Selection; Management of Projects, Programs and Portfolios; Reporting and Metrics; Resource Capacity Management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Defining, developing and deploying of standardized tools, templates, and best practices for use in project governance and project delivery, including developing of key metrics and performance indicators. - Overseeing project/portfolio status reporting and analysis. - Improving project demand management processes, including the gathering of demand, and the prioritization/selection of projects. - Supporting the development and maintenance of documentation of key governance processes and providing training to end users and key stakeholders. - Assisting with the continuous review, evaluation and implementation of tools needed to support governance/project management activities. - Developing and refining resource management practices with the goals of better understanding our resource demand vs capacity.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree.

Required Experience: 7+ years' experience in project/program management with experience in managing IT projects of varying size, complexity and technologies, or a mix of this experience with Project Management Office experience.
