Brief Description of the Organization CBNA is the primary legal entity for Citi, providing products and services to consumers, financial institutions and corporate clients around the world. In the past, Citi has provided most of its internal reporting on a business by business basis. With the changes in the regulatory environment, strong legal entity reporting and governance has become essential. This team is responsible for ensuring that CBNA has the appropriate governance and control infrastructure to meet the demand for legal entity planning, execution, information management and the ever-evolving regulatory environment. Description of the Position Key Responsibilities: With responsibility for coverage of Event-Driven and/or Credit strategies, this person will be expected to perform intensive due-diligence on existing as well as prospective funds. Specifically, the senior analyst will be responsible for making timely recommendations to the clients of CPB with respect to funds under coverage, highlighting opportunities and risks, working with our portfolio team to help build successful portfolios for our clients as well as making recommendations on when to buy or sell specific funds. Ideally, this person should have 15 or more years of experience as an allocator as well as having spent time in a direct investing role. As a senior member of the team, there will also be an expectation to be a frequent participant in research and portfolio related meetings covering all strategies. In addition to research responsibilities, this role requires a strong commercial orientation and proven experience in client-facing activities (direct experience marketing of a platform and individual funds in strongly preferred). Significant latitude will be afforded to develop new products and business opportunities. Accordingly, a track record of accomplishment in structuring and growing a business, with particular emphasis on hedge fund sales, is required.

15+ years of hedge fund due diligence
Strong track record of selecting and advising on relevant hedge fund strategies
Understanding of how various strategies work within a portfolio
A strong understanding of financial markets and drivers of hedge fund strategies
A deep network of hedge fund relationships and understanding of the relevant universe

Demonstrated sales success
Track record of managing full life-cycle of a fund launch (sourcing and structuring, then marketing and client service)
A track record of consistently producing outstanding results under pressure
CFA strongly preferred
Direct investing experience preferred
