Description CITI Credit Analyst Competitive Salary Offered Job Purpose: ECP Sales Job Background/context: Associate level sales role on the European commercial paper desk. The primary responsibilities will include covering our key EMEA based short term accounts, which buy ECP, short corporates , short term corporate syndicate new issue deals, repo and government securities. In addition, the applicant will be part of a new model of cross coverage across ECP sales and trading, to more efficiently leverage relationships with our accounts and issuers. Key Responsibilities: Cover key accounts for short term products, primarily ECP. In addition cross train in both sales and trading to be an effective back up for traders when off the desk, traveling. In addition to general sales coverage on a day to day basis, applicant will be expected to liase between trading and origination and marketing in facilitating flows with our key issuers as well as helping to initiate new approvals. This includes hosting potential road shows for issuers and hosting traders and business heads for client meetings with covered accounts. Applicants must build a strong knowledge of credits traded on the desk, and effectively optimize flows to maintain and build upon our dominant market share. This will extend to other products that fall in to the short term world, since this is effectively a generalist sales force. The applicant must also act in a global capacity, and optimize flows with the USCP business where appropriate. Qualifications Knowledge/Experience: Extensive years Sales trading experience. Skills: Strong financial market skills. Abillity and desire to visit and entertain accounts both locally and across the region. Strong presentation skills. Attentive to detail. Able to perform on a trading desk setting. Demonstrate team skills to work with numerous partners.
