Our CSWE accredited BSW and MSW Programs invite applications for a 9-month tenure track Assistant Professor position to begin in Fall 2019. Successful applicants must have an MSW, two or more years of post-MSW social work practice experience, and a doctorate in social work or related field (should have a PhD by August 15, 2019).
The successful candidate must be able to teach across the BSW and MSW curriculum in the areas of micro practice, mezzo practice, and policy. The candidate should have demonstrated their commitment to social justice through their practice, research or community engagement experience. A well-planned research agenda and professional contributions consistent with the social and economic justice mission of our programs are expected. An expressed interest in academic leadership is desirable in the candidate.
