Specific responsibilities include: perform molecular dynamics simulations and dislocation dynamics modeling to simulate the physical mechanisms of plastic deformation in metals and alloys; build atomic model for crystalline structures; analyze materials experimental and simulations results; integrate experimental results with modelling results; prepare presentations and write research articles and reports; interact with other researchers in the team; assist with training graduate students; help with writing research proposals.

The successful applicant must have been continuously involved in materials and chemical engineering research within the past three years.
A record of first author publications.
Must be available to begin work within the next two months.
Good experience in materials simulations and modeling
Strong background in materials science engineering especially in metals
Strong publication record.
