Under the general direction of the Manager of Security, Security Supervisor and/or the Director of Facility Support Services. Patrols BTNRH - Pacific Street Medical Campus, grounds and parking lots to enforce hospital safety and security; controls hospital traffic flow and parking. Routine work assignments are performed independently. Specific instructions are received for non-routine work assignments. Work assignments are reviewed regularly.
Full Time position: Monday -Friday 7am to 3pm.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
1) High school diploma or equivalent, required, 2) a valid driver's license, with a favorable driving record, 3) minimum of one year experience in Security, Military, or Law Enforcement, preferred, 4) the incumbent must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays, 5) must complete and maintain certification in the nationally recognized personal restraint training model (SCM) within 60 days of hire, 6) must keep current on BLS (CPR) certification, 7) must be able to work at the BTNRH-Downtown & Pacific Street Medical Campuses, and 8) must be 21 years of age to work in the Residential Treatment Center.
