The Debt Capital Markets business is hiring for an Analyst/Associate position on the US Investment Grade Debt Capital Markets Corporate Origination desk. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing team with high internal visibility, as well as to gain transaction experience and a high level of responsibility in a fast paced and dynamic trading floor environment.
Responsible for putting together weekly new issue pricing, presentations for meetings, and maintaining deal databases
Establish deep knowledge base of the global bond markets, identifying trends and originating unique ideas (acquisition financing, liability management, structured transactions, etc.)
Responsible for coordinating with various groups within TD: Syndicate, Sales and Trading, Research, Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Market Risk Solutions, Global teams, etc.
Establish deep understanding of TD's capabilities across various products and geographies and how they can benefit TD's client base
Interacting with TD's DCM clients-keeping clients apprised of market trends, new issuance and headlines
Review a broad range of financial reports and identify impact to our client base: credit, rating agency, recent earnings, equity reports, strategy, economic, etc.
Play integral role in the deal cycle from beginning to end including taking ownership of pitches, deal documentation, sales memos, marketing, execution, pricing, and settlement
You will understand and comply with TD Securities (USA) Policies, regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring that transactions are fully documented and processed accurately and in a timely manner
Your position possesses specialized and expert knowledge of market data, economic information and key industry developments as well as regulatory standards at all times to assist in maximizing profitability through sound business decisions. Position develops and maintains contacts with market participants and supports syndicate operating in supplying market information to partners within the TD global DCM group
You are required to demonstrate governance, control and risk management behaviours in alignment with TD policies and practices
Preference for candidates with Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses. Those who do not have those qualifications will be required to obtain them.
Preference for candidates with 2 years+ DCM/IBD experience.
