Serves as the Chief Student Affairs Officer to provide leadership, management, strategic direction and administrative oversight for all Student Affairs functions including recruitment and retention, admissions, enrollment services/registration, strategic enrollment management planning, financial aid, student employment, counseling, advising, transfer, career services, student life, diversity, disability services, TRIO, and Perkins (shared with Academic Affairs).
This position also oversees an athletics program that includes two collegiate sports programs.
Works in concert with the Vice President of Academic Affairs, Academic Deans, Vice President of Finance and Administration, and other campus and system leaders to support student academic success and meet the diverse educational needs of students and the college community.
Exercises significant discretion and substantial involvement in the development, interpretation and implementation of College policy.
Reports to the College President.
Master's degree in Educational Leadership, College Student Personnel or a related field.
Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education leadership, including supervisory experience in Student Affairs and other key areas including, but not limited to the following:
Directing enrollment management operations or initiatives.
Supervising employees in a union environment.
Shared governance environment and collaborative decision-making.
Data-informed decision-making culture and continuous quality improvement.
Strategic planning and budgeting.
Commitment to diversity and equity initiatives.
Developing internal (e.g., Academic Affairs) and external collaborations (e.g., K-12 systems or baccalaureate institutions).
Commitment to students and promoting student development inside and outside the classroom.
Proficiency in written and oral communications, including public speaking
