The CCBSI group is part of Commercial Banking at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and focuses on companies typically with revenues of over $500mm which require traditional banking services in addition to investment banking products. Our competitive advantage is that we cover this market in a truly unique way - through a partnership between our corporate bankers and investment bankers who together build relationships with our clients and offer customized financial solutions. Our investment bankers bring strategic ideas to clients, which are executed with investment banking products. Our corporate bankers provide commercial banking products and structure loan facilities for our clients. The head of CCBSI for Asia-Pacific will report to the head of CCBSI International Banking and will be responsible for establishing the business' presence across the region to support non-U.S. headquartered clients with their Credit, Markets, Investment Banking, Trade and Treasury Services needs. In addition to establishing our footprint in the region, this individual will be responsible for leading a team of corporate bankers in each new market, establishing client relationships and partnering across Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Markets, Treasury Services and key functional groups to develop a sound and sustainable operating model. Responsibilities:
Define, lead and execute the Asia-Pacific expansion strategy end to end by collaborating with key stakeholders across the organization
Drive the talent agenda by hiring a diverse team of corporate bankers and support staff in each new market
Establish a strong partnership and dialogue with local management including but not limited to the CEO of Asia-Pacific and Senior Country Officers to ensure alignment on business strategy, priorities and client selection
Institute a sound governance model compliant with local regulatory requirements, risk and controls Requirements:
