Finance-based Risk and Controls experience from a medium to large global or multi-office/jurisdiction financial services environment
Excellent communicator with strong commercial sense and senior-level stakeholder management experience with the ability to communicate the value of building/maintaining/adopting/developing strong risk and controls (i.e. communicating what good controls are and establishing strong risk framework from a finance and business perspective)
Someone who can develop and communicate Risk MI
Either immediately available or on a short notice period (candidates with a month's notice period will also be considered if they match the profile of the role)
Supporting the delivery of the Group's Enterprise Risk Management Framework within the region and across Corporate Functions, across all risk types;
Interaction with key stakeholders and functional managers on all Risk topics and best practices
Support the Group's risk governance structure within the region
Execute the Group Annual Risk Plan and Group Risk Assurance Plan within the region whilst supporting the global delivery
Support the execution of the regional risk element of the Risk Assurance Plan (including control assurance, thematic and deep-dive reviews)
Ongoing monitoring of region's risk profile against risk appetite through monitoring of performance against Risk Appetite Thresholds and related KRIs (including: review of required escalations and tracking of risk response actions)
Monitor the implantation of the Risk Management Standards within the region (controls framework and metric monitoring/escalation / reporting)
Participate in the Group's risk identification and evaluation process
Participate in the delivery of the regional risk assessment processes, including emerging risks
Assist in the preparation and execution of any regular risk reports (targeted risk assessments)
Coordinate the response process within the region, including the review, approval and tracking of risk actions and risk acceptances
Support the mapping of high risk processes and propose recommendations to close risk
Participate in the delivery of the Group's stress testing programme within the region, including coordination of scenario workshops
Assist with coordination and preparation of ongoing risk training and business engagement within the region
