Aspen Consulting Group (ACG) has an immediate part-time opening for a DOD Contracts Manager. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working with DOD contracting.

Implement and manage multiple prime contracts and subcontracts
Prepare and issue contract status reports and correspondence
Develop and distribute requests for documentation to subcontractors in conjunction with Government RFPs
Ensure that all subcontractor documents submitted in response to RFPs are compliant with Government FAR/DFAR requirements
Ensure that all subcontractor documents are submitted in a timely manner as part of the response to the RFP. As part of this effort, establish and manage a tracking system to ensure that all documentation, both prime and subcontractor, are submitted prior to RFP deadlines.
Track prime and subcontractor deliverables, schedules and funding
Execute prime contracts, subcontracts and modifications
Release (as prime contractor) or respond to data calls from the Government or prime contractors.
Issue (as prime contractor) or respond to teaming agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
Manage the preparation of cost and management volumes and other RFP documentation
Create rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates
Knowledge of all contract types and the implications (cost, schedule, performance, risk) associated with each contract type
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Department of Defense (DOD) contracting
Knowledge of the FAR, the DFAR, and the DOD budgeting process
Knowledge of all elements of the DOD contract management process
Knowledge of Government purchasing procedures and CPAR audits
Experience with prime contracts and subcontracts during all phases of the program life cycle to include front-end capture, proposal preparation, negotiations, award, contract execution, and close out
Experience in the development and submittal of proposals involving multiple team members
Experience in negotiating contracts
Demonstrated ability to identify risk elements in dealings with the Government and sub/prime contractor agreements
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
BA/BS degree preferred but not required
Must be U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret security clearance
Telecommuting is allowed.
Additional Salary Information: Salary is negotiable and based on knowledge and experience.
