We are looking for an experienced London-based Communications Manager to join a team dedicated to raising the profile and maintaining the reputation of S&P Global Market Intelligence, one of the four divisions that make up S&P Global. You will help senior leaders develop and implement the division's overall communications strategy, but your core responsibility will be for managing our external media relationships in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Gaining the trust and confidence of senior leaders, you will effectively tailor the overall communications strategy for your region and execute on it as you see fit. You will have a team behind you willing to flex and support your work, as you will for them.
Media Relations - Raise and support the overall media visibility for the insight, data and analysis published by S&P Global Market Intelligence
Public Relations - Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and use Market Intelligence content and data to advance the division's narrative
Strategic Message Development - Work with executive, product and analytical leaders to develop key messaging for employees, clients and media that support business objectives.
Internal Communications - Assist the seasoned internal communicators on the team to generate compelling and creative employee-focused content; help raise internal visibility of key projects and initiatives to effect change.

Key Skills and Experience Required:
Strong experience of managing and executing organizational communications
Demonstrated ability to collaborate; actively listen; and push back with respect
Excellent writing and communications skills
Knowledge of the financial markets and strong desire to keep learning
Excellent inter-personal and relationship-building skills
Proactive, tactical and creative in crafting strategy
Knowledge of current news and events that impact the economy
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines
Software skills: PR tools such as Cision; CMS; social media; graphic design / Photoshop are all a plus
Understanding of industries comprising and impacting global market is a plus - willingness to learn is a must
