The team will be managed through and report to CF Business Management
The team will support the deal teams in navigating the current approval processes and perform KYC activities
The team will have a small group of people to take up client outreach related activities and work with bankers and clients directly to obtain KYC documentation
Roles and responsibilities:
Raise New Client Adoption request
Understand nature of business, PEP/ negative news review
Navigate internal approvals e.g. AFC, BRG, CRAF and organize escalation meetings
Conduct Client outreach
Centre of competence to guide bankers' through approval stages
Strengthen controls to ensure all risk sign offs are obtained before commitment
Identify optimization potential in DB processes and team up with Infrastructure partners to address these
Skills and qualification:
The candidate will have:
Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in a KYC role and an appreciation of the basic banking principles
Experience necessary preferably in conjunction with Investment Banking and/or client outreach
Strong communication skills to be able to talk to senior peole at the Client
Sound understanding of corporate finance and capital markets products, although training will be given where needed
Numerate and analytical with a high attention to detail
Confident, articulate and able to build rapport and strong relationships
The candidate will be:
2~3 years of relevant working experiences in banks / securities companies with knowledge of businesses and investment banking products
Proficiency in Excel and other Office software
Proficiency in both Mandarin, English
Strong communication skills
Experience with KYC
