1. Coordinates and assists with the completion of specific program and research projects. 2. Organizes and analyzes data; develops electronic presentations related to the program and research work. 3. Participates in training sessions, meetings, and conference calls with program collaborators, data organization and report development, development of community report request procedures, analysis of data and dissemination of results through reports to collaborators and funding agencies in accordance with program and study timelines. 4. Oversees the design, development, and maintenance of a program website. This involves creation of a special program specific database and the incorporation of additional data to overlay onto program data and Geographic Information System maps. 5. Identifies obstacles encountered during program report development and production; develops acceptable resolutions to such obstacles. 6. Develops, maintains, and cleans databases, performing data entry as needed. Ensures that data is being entered accurately and efficiently. 7. Performs statistical analyses using standard statistical software packages. 8. Develops community data report request procedures and monitors their effectiveness; makes modifications as needed. 9. Conducts literature searches and reviews, downloads journal articles and creates both endnote libraries and bibliographies for manuscript development and submission. 10. Assists with writing and submitting abstracts for presentation at scientific meetings, and with manuscripts for publication. 11. Assists with the writing and development of reports on program and research activity. 12. Works with faculty to ensure protocols are submitted, renewed, and amended, assists with the development of protocols and tracks protocol status. 13. May perform other duties as assigned.
