Assistant/Associate Professor and Director of the Undergraduate Programs in Communication Sciences & Disorders (CSD).
POSITION: Full-time, non-tenure-track teaching faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level and Director of the Undergraduate Programs in Communication Sciences & Disorders (CSD), which includes a BS in CSD and a dual BS/MS in Speech Language Pathology (SLP). This is a full-time 8.5-month faculty position with eligibility for promotion. Compensation is nationally competitive.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in Audiology; clinical certification preferred, minimum of 3 years teaching experience and demonstrate strong teaching skills at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; must have experience with undergraduate curriculum design, mentoring/advising undergraduate students, and working with members of groups that have historically been underrepresented in the field. Candidates who can serve as a research mentor to undergraduate students are preferred.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Serve as the CSD Undergraduate Director, including oversight of the administration and operation of the BS in CSD and dual BS/MS in SLP programs. Additional responsibilities include advising, teaching undergraduate CSD courses and graduate level audiology courses, mentoring undergraduate research and serving on departmental, college and university committees.

THE DEPARTMENT: The Communication Sciences & Disorders Department at Syracuse University offers CAA-accredited clinical programs in Speech-Language Pathology (MS) and Audiology (AuD), as well as a Bachelor's degree in CSD, PhD degrees in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, and a dual AuD/PhD degree.
