The incumbent will serve as the Assistant Director for the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic (Cohen Clinic) at the University of Pennsylvania. The Cohen Clinic provides low to no cost, evidence-based behavioral health care to Veterans and military family members. The Assistant Director will support training, consultation, and quality management of clinical services. The Assistant Director will oversee staff clinical training and adherence to licensure and quality standards, administering and overseeing ongoing peer chart reviews, and conducting EMR training for new team members. Will provide primary oversight to the clinic’s Care Coordination team, including Intake, Case Management, and Follow-up processes, to ensure the highest level of care is provided. The Assistant Director will serve as the primary point of contact for our student training initiatives and will oversee the selection, training, and oversight of trainees, as well as supporting staff members in the supervision of trainees. The Assistant Director will maintain an active caseload of veterans and military family members. He/she is expected to be a champion of evidence-based care, and to model the use of evidence-based practices through his/her own clinical work and supervision. This role will also serve as our EMR Superuser, the primary clinical liaison to our network regarding clinical workflows and developments in our EHR, and will work closely with our Data Manager to facilitate meaningful data entry to support accurate reporting. Will represent our clinic in network level Superuser and Lead Clinician calls to facilitate the dissemination of best practices across the network. S/he will work closely with the Clinic Director to support program evaluation, will take the lead in dissemination of clinical process changes, and support research activities of the clinic. The Assistant Director will assume oversight over clinical administrative functioning of the clinic and serve as Deputy to the Clinic Director in times of the Director’s absence.
