Perform various accounting functions and assists in the detailed preparation of program & center wide budgets and financial reports under the direction of the Director of Finance and Accounting.
Maintains a general ledger by performing monthly postings.
Prepares monthly vouchers for government funded programs.
Prepares monthly financial statements for the center.
Assist Director in the formulation of Accounting policies and procedures for the department.
Assists Director in planning the accounting requirements of the center.
Review quarterly tax reports for accuracy.
Assist Director in the preparation of the center’s annual budget
Review expenditure requests for budgetary and program compliance
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
Minimum Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Accounting required, preferably experience in both public accounting and social service agency accounting. Knowledge of computer and fund accounting helpful.
