The Regulatory and Governance Portfolio is responsible for delivering Regulatory and Governance (Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit) change across M&G (and where relevant across M&G Prudential). In this role, you will assist in the oversight of the portfolio governance and managing the change agenda for the portfolio (including horizon scanning, interaction with Regulatory Development (Compliance), resourcing, budget and MI).
You will be a self-starter and strategic thinker, working in a hybrid/multidisciplinary capacity on a number of key projects in the portfolio (including Senior Managers and Certification Regime and LIBOR transition) including Senior Managers and Certification Regime with particular focus on the management of uncertainties and judgement calls within projects.
Working with Lead Regulatory Change Consultant and Portfolio Lead in managing forward-looking finances and resources related to the portfolio including: o Ensuring the resource profile for the weekly portfolio managers meeting is always up to date and managed effectively o Working closely with Finance and Portfolio Analyst to understand portfolio finances and budget, and to maintain oversight on overspend, available budget etc. o Manage the Portfolio roadmaps (both in-flight and horizon projects) and work closely with Lead PM and Lead BA to establish resourcing requirements
Work closely with Regulatory Development team in Compliance to understand regulatory horizon and managing priorities
With Lead Regulatory Change consultant ensure that all projects are established effectively including creation of change approach, sign off from appropriate governance forums (including Regulatory and Governance change forum), and handover to Project Manager
Working in a hybrid role on a number of key projects in the portfolio, with particular focus on the management of uncertainties and judgement calls in the project
