The Virginia Military Institute Department of English, Rhetoric, and Humanistic Studies is seeking applications for a tenure-track assistant professor expertise in rhetoric and composition beginning in August 2019. The incumbent will teach three courses per semester, including Core and upper-level courses, in an interdisciplinary major with a central focus on rhetoric. Ph.D. required. Those with professional interest in classical rhetoric, civic engagement, and/or writing centers are encouraged to apply.
