The successful candidate will be a positive, enthusiastic individual who is committed to the academic and athletic success of student athletes and be knowledgeable of, committed to and compliant with NCAA, GLVC and S&T rules and regulations.
The individual selected is responsible for the operation and management of the men's basketball program including but not limited to: scheduling, budgeting, recruiting, practice, game preparations, and supporting other athletic department activities.
The individual will assume responsibility for: team performance (on the court and in the classroom); the welfare of student-athletes; and will actively promote Miner Athletics as an integral part of the University and as a partner with the broader community.

A Bachelor's degree in related/relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 6 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Successful basketball coaching experience at a four-year NCAA collegiate institution
Successful recruiting experience
Successful basketball coaching experience with a proven record of developing and retaining outstanding student-athletes
Knowledgeable about, and committed to, NCAA rules and regulations
