Northern Essex Community College serves approximately 6,000 credit students each semester on two campuses located in the beautiful, historic Merrimack Valley region of northeast Massachusetts. PART-TIME BUSINESS SYSTEMS OPERATIONS ANALYST, ENROLLMENT SERVICES: Enrollment Services; Haverhill Campus; 22.50 hours per week; Non-Unit Professional Position; This position is currently part-time with plans to be full-time to be determined at a later date.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Business Systems Operations Analyst for Enrollment Services will serve as a member of the Business Systems Team under the leadership of the Director of Business Systems for Academic and Student Affairs and will support the areas of Enrollment Services, Admissions, and Financial Aid. NECC is seeking an experienced professional to serve as the functional administrator of the EAB Navigate software application providing end-user application support, designing and implementing business processes, and writing and analyzing reports to assist Enrollment Services. The Business Systems Operations Analyst will be a team member on several functional areas within Enrollment Services, and other college areas in order to implement and manage the business systems and processes. This individual will work within Business Systems to support the goals of Enrollment Services and the college as a whole, s/he will:
Provide end-user support to Academic and Student Affairs with particular emphasis on Enrollment Services
Assist with the implementation, testing, upgrades of applications
Develop and review business processes for efficiencies
Incorporate application enhancements and technologies into business processes
Ensure compliance with Federal and State Reporting and Regulations
Develop and maintain documentation on business processes
Design and develop reports
Lead projects to ensure schedule and objectives are met
Develop a strong relationship(s) with vendor(s)
Bachelor's Degree Required
Three (3) or more years of experience working in a college setting
Experience with Banner, PeopleSoft or Datatel
Experience with application implementations or upgrades
Demonstrated analysis and report writing skills
Knowledge of establishing and maintaining effective and efficient business processes
Knowledge of technology as it related to student information systems
Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written with strong interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Technical writing/writing for student audiences/writing for various mediums, such as mobile devices
Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-functional team
Have a propensity to be detail oriented
Ability to learn systems quickly and effectively
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with ethic, cultural, socially diverse populations and a multi-campus environment
Experience with the following programs/softwares:

SALARY: $35,000 annually, with complete fringe benefit package.
