Family Health Centers at NYU Langone, a designated Level 3 Medical Home, is the largest federally qualified health center network in New York State, and the second largest in the nation. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Site Director supporting our Family Health Center in Flatbush.
In this role, the successful candidate will oversee daily operational, financial, staffing, initiatives and marketing activities at the site. Collaborates with management and all staff/providers to meet site objectives.
Leads monthly staff meetings to review policies and procedures, advise staff of developments and changes within the Health System
Promotes quality of care, staff and patient satisfaction, through daily communication and actions
Works with the sites management to promote efficiency of site operation
Performs other duties as assigned or requested by Family Health Centers at NYU Langone Administration
Collaborates with appropriate departments, department heads and directors to coordinate resident schedules, rotations and patient care
Resolves patient complaints, monitors patient and staff satisfaction through direct observation, surveys and meetings to provide good communication between all levels of multi-disciplinary staff and with patients
Responsible for daily operations consistent with NYU Langone Health's goals and objectives. Collects data on, reviews and takes action on Family Health Centers at NYU Langone-wide and site-specific Report Card indicators, which include specific benchmark standards (Quality of Services, Quality of Work Life, Quality of Care, Cost/Efficiency Indicators)
Reviews and utilizes statistical reports required for internal and external reporting regulatory agencies such as JCAHO, NYC/NYS DOH, federal grants
Collaborates with External Affairs Department in developing marketing outreach and health education activities. Serves as the site figure head at community events
Ensures that all procedures are consistent with NYU Langone Health's standards (e.g., safety and infection control standards)
Act as liaison between NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, Family Health Center at NYU Langone Administration, and community organizations to form linkages to increase access to care and streamline the delivery of services such as laboratory, radiology and transportation
Responsible for staff education and coordinating with clinical areas to promote patient-focused care, cultural competence and team building
Supervises all staff. Coordinates with clinical leadership to ensure adequate staffing. Responsible for hiring staff and taking disciplinary action, as needed
Facilitates the development and implementation of re-engineering systems, new technologies, etc
Bachelors degree (BS or BA)
Minimum of three (3) years progressive management or supervisory experience in Ambulatory Care or healthcare setting
