We Live Here, a podcast for people somewhere on the woke spectrum, needs an extra set of hands to help us make our show.
We've been up and running for about four years and have been incubated inside St. Louis Public Radio. We operate like a startup, and we get deep into issues of race and class. We've surpassed one million downloads and we have a co-producing deal with PRX, the distribution engine behind some of the best shows out there, including This American Life, Reveal and The Moth Radio Hour.
Now we need you to help us build on this momentum, come up with the next great episode, plan our next storytelling event. And to be honest, help make sure we don't drop a ball. Things we have in mind include helping us shape audio stories and coming up with new and impactful ways to engage and grow our audience.
This is a part-time, 20-30 hour a week position. The formal job requirements are listed below. But the bottom line is we need a true team member. We don't want to just assign you stuff; we want you to assign yourself stuff. To take full ownership, learn and have fun.
We're open to people at all points in their career and from all backgrounds.
