This role will primarily focus on regulatory compensation and reporting for the EMEA region. This will also include understanding the processes undertaken by the HR Compensation and Policy teams as well as current regulatory requirements.
- Lead on the collation and completion of regulatory compensation reporting and filings - Liaise with broader regulatory compensation team to ensure Morgan Stanley is compliant with regulatory reporting requirements - Create additional regulatory metrics/analytics as needed - Improve and review existing reporting capabilities and processes to adapt to new requirements - Understand data needs and utilize MS systems to complete reports - Support the annual review of Material Risk Taker identification frameworks - Manage relationship with Payroll to ensure monthly allowance payments are completed accurately and on time
Skills required (essential)
- Degree level or equivalent required - Experience in a compensation/analytical role, ideally within HR - Strong background in, or familiarity with, the financial services industry - Understanding of banking compensation regulations is preferable - Ability to manage projects, daily responsibilities and ensure accurate production of analytics - Excellent communications skills; verbal & written - Excellent analytical skills (able to produce meaningful reports from multiple streams of data) - Data oriented with strong attention to detail and awareness of the need for data auditing - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Access - Enjoys high volume, fast paced environment - Good time management and organisational abilities
