To support these efforts, Stern has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, EMBA DC. The selected candidate will manage the strategic development and implementation of a new EMBA program in Washington, DC. S/he will ensure the successful delivery of the EMBA DC program, including off-site residencies, global study tour and capstone projects. The Associate Director will tailor the content of the tours to the EMBA DC audience, including activities that involve senior government figures, business leaders, educators, and nonprofit professionals. S/he will identify and cultivate relationships with companies and business leaders abroad to engage them for the program. The Associate Director will serve as a key point person for all EMBA DC activities for students, faculty, NYU DC location, and NYU Stern offices. This position is based at NYU Stern's Washington Square campus and requires travel to NYU DC.
The selected candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination. Experience in developing and implementing programs, overseeing student services, or related professional services experience is essential. Excellent written, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills are required. The selected candidate will have the ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds, advise students, and resolve problems. Candidates who have experience in an academic and/or international environment are preferred.
