Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management (Admin III)
California State University, Dominguez Hills, was established in 1960 and is one of the 23 campuses that comprise The California State University system. CSU Dominguez Hills is an urban, comprehensive public university that serves a culturally rich, diverse student body of over 12,500 students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Located on a 346-acre site in the South Bay portion of the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area, CSU Dominguez Hills has a highly pluralistic student body, which includes a significant number of non-traditional, working adult students as well as approximately 2,000 students enrolled in distance learning programs statewide. Conditions of Employment:
Possession of a valid Driver's License is required. Employees in this position will be enrolled in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Government Employer Pull Notice Program which confirms possession of a valid driver's license and reflects driving record.
Satisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check) is required for employment. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.
The person holding this position is considered a `mandated reporter' under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.

Department: Enrollment Management
The Division of Student Affairs is responsible for co-curricular services and programs that enhance student success and the quality of campus life. In addition, the Division is responsible for student recruitment, admission, registration, and student records. The following service units operate through the Division of Student Affairs: Admissions and Records; Financial Aid; Outreach and Information Services; the Dean of Students; Student Activities; the Loker Student Union; the Multicultural Center; New Student Programs; the Educational Opportunity Program; Career Services; Student Enrollment Services; Student Health & Psychological Services; University Housing; Upward Bound; Veterans' Affairs; Student Clubs and Organizations; and the Women's Resource Center.
Major Job Duties: Under the general direction of the Director of the School of Nursing and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Coordinator; the BSN Program Specialist is responsible for coordinating recruitment for the Registered Nurse (RN) to BSN program, Accelerated 2nd Baccalaureate program, and the Pre-BSN summer program. This includes screening applicants, attending college fairs and information sessions, being involved in orientation, advising students related to deficiencies and clinical placement concerns. In addition, developing spreadsheets and identifying data for reports required for the position, including grants and scholarships.
Qualifications: Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of national and state issues related to higher education policies and practices influencing enrollment management;
A record of dynamic, collaborative, proactive, visionary and ethical leadership;
Excellent interpersonal, communication, management, problem-solving and decision-making skills;
Ability to work with professional integrity and discretion;
Experience with collaborative retention strategies;
Leadership experience in supporting a diverse student population;
Knowledge and leadership experience in supporting a culture of inclusion and multicultural competence
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including expertise in presenting publicly and speaking on behalf of the university.
Certification: Valid Drivers License
Experience and Education: Required Education: Masters Degree from an accredited college or university.
Required Experience: At least 10 years of progressively responsible and demonstrated success in higher education enrollment management, including marketing, data-driven programs, budgetary and personnel responsibilities, enrollment management planning, contract management and program development, with at least 5 years as a supervisor of professional staff
Salary Range: Salary is commensurate with experience.
