The PTAC Program Manager manages delivery of specialized services to small and mid-sized businesses interested in doing business with the government. Key duties include: 1. Plan, coordinate and oversee PTAC activities to achieve program goals. 2. Prepare proposals and program reports. 3. Develop and manage budget/financial reporting. 4. Ensure compliance with federal, state and university regulations and policies. 5. Conduct private consulting sessions and group training programs for clients to help them understand requirements and capture government contracts. 6. Conduct outreach and develop partnerships to enhance the program. 7. Maintain procurement client bid match database. 8. Assist clients with SAM registration, using GSA schedule and obtaining certifications such as 8(a), HubZone, etc. 9. Attend PTAC conferences; convey information to SC PTAC consultants. 10. Supervise/coordinate with seasoned staff consultants. Must balance personal consulting and training duties with management responsibilities.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Master's degree in related field and 3 years related program experience, or bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience. Must have experience with government procurement processes and principles. Must have solid knowledge of the FAR and federal, state and local contracting requirements related to small business.
